Your agent. Your order. Your girl.
Purchase & returns terms.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Review the payment information shown in Stripe checkout. Payment status and retailer fulfillment are recorded separately.
These terms govern purchases arranged through girl.io, a service of T Labs LLC ("girl.io," "we," or "us"). You appoint us to arrange the purchase you authorize. Read these terms with your order’s quote and the service and privacy information. Contact support@girl.io for purchase, cancellation or return assistance.
1. Your purchasing agent
You authorize girl.io to purchase the approved item on your behalf and for your account, using the recipient and delivery details you provide. The retailer supplies the goods and its applicable sale, delivery, return and warranty terms govern the goods, subject to your rights under law. You authorize us to accept those retailer terms only within your approved purchase instructions. girl.io handles its own Stripe charge to you and support for that charge; the retailer’s role does not remove our responsibility for our service.
We do not promise that every product or retailer is supported or that your agent has found the lowest price. We may decline an item before buying. Requests must be lawful purchases for delivery within the United States, in US dollars. Gift cards, prepaid cards, cash or financial instruments, cryptocurrency, securities, betting, gambling, auctions and unlawful items are excluded.
2. Your authorization and your AI agent
New purchase requests and checkout must be completed by your connected AI agent within its platform’s permissions. You may sign in, set instructions, approve purchases, complete a bank-required identity check, view orders and request cancellation. You must not take over card entry to bypass an assistant’s payment restriction. If the assistant cannot complete checkout, it must report the blocker; no purchase is confirmed.
Your authorization must cover the exact item and variant, one-item quantity, delivery address, full retailer budget including shipping, tax and mandatory fees, any arrival date or deadline you specify, quoted reimbursement and card hold. Prior or standing permission is sufficient when it clearly covers the order. Your agent must ask when information or authority is missing, unclear or exceeded. Its consent assertion is recorded with provider/model/version labels; those labels are self-reported, not verified agent identity. Never put card details, passwords or private connection keys in purchase instructions.
3. The 5% purchasing credit
For an eligible approved purchase, girl.io contributes a purchasing credit so your reimbursement is 95% of the approved full retailer total, including shipping, tax and mandatory fees, rounded once to the nearest cent. We purchase using our funds, then collect the approved reimbursement through Stripe. There is no separate cash rebate.
The credit applies to completed purchases. On a full return and full cash refund from the retailer, you receive everything you paid; you do not receive the portion girl.io funded. For example: retailer total $100.00; girl.io purchasing credit −$5.00; amount charged to you $95.00. A full merchant cash refund of $100.00 produces a $95.00 refund to you. No extra 5% penalty is deducted from your $95.00 payment.
4. Card hold, two-hour cancellation and purchase
Checkout authorizes a card hold for the approved amount. A hold is not a captured payment or proof that the retailer order has been placed. The two-hour cancellation window starts at the verified Stripe authorization time. Your order shows the exact deadline. A cancellation must reach girl.io before that deadline; delayed email does not extend it. During that window you may cancel for any reason, including an agent choosing the wrong item or acting outside your permission.
We do not start the retailer purchase until that window has ended. Afterward we recheck the item, retailer total, delivery constraints and card authorization, pay the retailer with our funds, and record its receipt before capturing your approved reimbursement. We do not increase your approved charge. If a price, item, retailer or delivery condition falls outside what you authorized, we pause or cancel and obtain fresh authorization before a changed purchase. A delivery deadline is a constraint, not a delivery guarantee.
Timely cancellation releases an uncaptured hold in full; no 95/5 return allocation applies. Where an eligible cancellation concerns an already captured payment from an earlier payment flow, the full amount you paid is refunded. Your bank determines when a released hold disappears or a refund appears.
5. If a purchase cannot be completed
If the item is unavailable, the price differs, the authorization expires or we cannot meet your instructions before purchasing, we will not silently substitute or charge more. We cancel or ask for revised permission and arrange release of an unused hold. If we have captured payment but have not completed the retailer purchase, we refund the unfulfilled purchase in full. A failed or uncertain payment or retailer checkout is investigated before any repeat attempt; we do not treat it as permission for a duplicate charge or order.
After the two-hour window, contact us promptly if you need help cancelling. We cannot promise that an already placed retailer order can be cancelled. Applicable retailer cancellation and return options remain available.
6. Retailer returns, warranties and shipping costs
Contact support with your girl.io order number before returning goods so we can help you follow the retailer’s instructions. The retailer’s deadlines, item-condition requirements, exclusions, restocking charges and return-shipping rules apply when lawfully disclosed and applicable. girl.io does not promise a separate 30-day return window, free return shipping or a replacement manufacturer warranty.
For an ordinary retailer return, our cash reimbursement to you is due after we actually receive the corresponding merchant cash refund. A promised or pending merchant refund is not yet received. If the retailer lawfully refuses the return or issues no refund, no ordinary merchant-return cash refund is due from girl.io. This does not limit refunds or remedies required by law or arising from our own failure to carry out your authorized purchase.
7. Full and partial refunds
A full merchant cash refund results in a refund of the full amount you actually paid for that purchase, less any refund you already received. For a partial merchant cash refund, including one reduced by lawful restocking charges or nonrefundable shipping, you receive 95% of the cash returned. girl.io retains the corresponding 5% to reverse the purchasing credit it funded. Example: if the retailer returns $80.00, your refund is $76.00 and the purchasing-credit reversal is $4.00.
For multiple partial refunds, we calculate your cumulative entitlement from the cumulative merchant cash refund, round to the nearest cent, then subtract refunds already issued. Your total refund through Stripe cannot exceed your original captured payment. A final full merchant refund restores your full original payment, subject to prior refunds. Receipts show merchant cash received, purchasing-credit reversal and the amount refunded to you; the reversal is subtracted from merchant cash to calculate your refund.
We issue cash refunds against your original Stripe payment, not as a new payout. A submitted refund may remain pending while Stripe or your bank processes it; we distinguish submission from confirmation. If the retailer issues transferable store credit instead of cash, we pass that credit to you under its restrictions, rather than promising a cash conversion.
Tell us if the retailer refunds you directly, sends a check or credits your store account. We reconcile that recovery to prevent duplicate reimbursement. We will explain any proposed adjustment and seek any authorization required for a payment; these terms do not authorize an automatic additional charge, debit or collection.
8. Payment disputes and your rights
For an ordinary return, please contact us and use the retailer’s return process first when practical. A card dispute is a separate process, not an automatic merchant return. We may provide accurate order, authorization, receipt, delivery, communication and refund records to the payment processor when responding to a dispute.
Nothing in these terms waives your statutory rights, card-issuer dispute rights, deadlines for reporting billing errors, or rights concerning unauthorized charges, non-delivery or defective goods. Contact your issuer promptly when necessary to preserve those rights. You do not need to wait for a merchant return before reporting fraud or an unauthorized charge. We do not impose an automatic penalty or suspension solely for exercising a lawful dispute right.
9. Account limits and truthful information
The initial allowance is $100 in combined open retailer totals before the purchasing credit. It is not a promised credit line or an automatic right to higher limits. We may review limits and future access based on completed orders, unresolved transactions, suspected fraud and operational risk. Provide accurate purchase and return evidence. Do not submit fabricated prices, receipts, return claims or refund-and-rebuy schemes.
10. Communications, records and policy changes
We use the contact information you provide to send order and payment updates and coordinate support. Merchant communications and shipment details may be relayed by our team; automatic forwarding and independently verified carrier delivery are not promised. Your order history distinguishes recorded retailer activity from payment status. Keep your contact details current and check your order directly when timing matters.
We retain the applicable terms version and purchase consent with the order. Later changes apply to future orders after the required notice and acceptance; they do not retroactively reduce the terms of an existing order. Purchase consent does not grant permission to publish private conversations or a public model benchmark. Separate privacy and provider requirements continue to apply.
These terms do not create identity-theft insurance or an unlimited protection plan. A separately offered price-adjustment policy applies only when it is explicitly included in your saved order terms; it is not implied by the 5% purchasing credit.
